About the ambulance
General medicine outpatient clinic in Váš Lekár Polyclinic provides health care for adult patients in the scope of general medicine. It focuses on preventive check-ups, diagnosis and treatment of acute diseasesas well as for basic diagnosis and monitoring of chronic diseases.
Patients most often visit the outpatient clinic for problems such as fever, cough, breathing or digestive problems, various types of pain or circulatory disorders. The outpatient clinic is also dedicated to the monitoring of chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure or disorders of fat, sugar and purine metabolism.
Part of the care are Statutory and extended preventive check-ups, outpatient CRP, glycaemia and urine chemistry tests. The outpatient clinic also performs ECG examinations and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and provides preoperative examinations, stool examination for hidden bleeding (FOB test) and ePN exposure.
Patients are treated in the outpatient clinic by MUDr. Kseniia Rzhevska, general practitioner.
The examination itself takes place in an environment with an emphasis on individual approach, thorough health assessment and clear communication during the examination.

The outpatient clinic accepts patients from the age of 18.. The examination can be covered by public health insurance, and the general practitioner will also issue, if necessary exchange ticket to a specialist. How to reach us
Váš Lekár Clinic can be found on the ground floor of the Eurovea 2 building. You have a choice of two inputs. The first entrance is located in the small square in front of the main entrance to Eurovea 2, next to the Eurovea Tower – on the left. The clinic can also be reached via the entrance from the promenade towards the Apollo Bridge – from the Danube. Parking is available in the Eurovea shopping centre or at the Slovak National Theatre. Additional information
- We accept patients from the age of 18.
- Patients visiting our clinic for the first time are kindly requested to arrive approximately 10 – 15 minutes before the examination in order to register at the client centre. You must present your insurance card or ID card (or other proof of identity) when registering.
- The registration fee is 99€/year.
- In the event of an injury such as a fall, sprain, dislocation, cuts, suspected fracture or head injury, please contact the emergency department or trauma clinic directly.

Preventive check-ups are usually covered by health insurance once every 2 years. Blood donors have it covered every year . If you are interested, we also recommend an extended preventive examination a self-pay option that includes a wider range of examinations and blood tests for a comprehensive assessment of your current health status.
An ECG examination is not an automatic part of every preventive check-up. It is indicated by the doctor by age, health or the presence of risk factors. In the Váš Lekár Polyclinic, the ECG examination is part of extended preventive examinations.
If you do not have more serious health problems and are not being treated for hypertension, it is sufficient to check the pressure as part of a preventive checkup. For elevated values or treatment of high pressure, we recommend measuring also at home as recommended by a doctor.
Yes. As part of a preventive examination or when a metabolic disorder is suspected, we can perform basic laboratory tests to detect diabetes or prediabetes.
We provide selected compulsory and optional vaccinations according to the current offer and recommendations. Specific vaccinations will be recommended by Váš Lekár on an individual basis according to your age, health and risk factors.
No, the doctor needs examine your health in person. In the outpatient clinic, we can also perform rapid diagnostic tests as needed, for example CRP test or smear.
Primary health care is covered by health insurance companies, and we have contracts with all of our insurance companies. However, some extra services may be charged according to the current price list. Part of the care is also annual personal management fee of 99 €, which includes extended services and client service.
Yes, registration for the first meeting can be done via booking systemwhere you can select the date and pay the annual fee (not valid for annual members). After an initial visit to explain administrative matters, we will arrange the transfer of medical records for you. Upon receipt of the documentation, we will contact you by telephone to arrange an appointment for an initial inspection.

Yeah, we issue receipts as required – for example, about a doctor’s appointment, medical condition or fitness.
Sick leave is issued when you have an illness or medical condition that prevents you from working. The length of sick leave depends on the diagnosis and course of treatment and is assessed individually by your doctor.
No. The outpatient clinic is intended for clients from 19 years of age and we don’t currently have a pediatrician at the clinic.
No, Váš Lekár Clinic is open Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (until 4:00 p.m. on Fridays). We are closed on weekends and holidays.

We provide referrals and contacts to other medical facilities and specialists for our clients. If you have purchased from us annual membership, our client center will take care of communication with the examination provider. We will keep you informed about the date and location of the examination.
You can reschedule or cancel simply through our ordering system (if you have registered and purchased your appointment directly through the portal) or by phone on +421 940 40 90 70.
Please keep us informed change or cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled examination. In case of late cancellation or no-show without apology, we reserve the right to charge the full cancellation fee.

Under current legislation, an exchange ticket is required for most specialisations. You can find precise information on where it is required in the section “Additional information” for each outpatient clinic.
Please first make an appointment with your GP, who will issue an exchange ticket to a specialist if necessary (except in specialties where one is not required). If you have a medical card at our general practice, you can arrange everything under one roof with us – from the examination to the exchange ticket.

The healthcare agreement is signed by the client and the doctor, who will also explain the procedure to the client. Subsequently, the nurse will arrange for the request and transfer of the medical documentation from the previous doctor to us at the Váš Lekár Polyclinic and the general practitioner’s outpatient clinic.
However, this is not possible until six months after the last Health Care Agreement has been signed with the current GP or gynaecologist. Once your medical records have been received, our nurse will contact you to arrange an initial check-up.
Capitalized clients
A capitated client is one who has a signed Health Care Agreement with a general practitioner or gynaecologist and is in possession of medical records. This client is entitled to complete health care, including a statutory preventive check-up, which is covered by public health insurance.
Uncapitated clients are not eligible for reimbursement of this exam by the health insurance company. The agreement is signed for a minimum of six months, after which time it is possible to switch to another doctor, including a gynecologist. If you have signed this agreement, your general practitioner and gynaecologist are your primary doctors in the area.
