About the ambulance
Dermatovenerology at the Váš Lekár Polyclinic is a specialist clinic dedicated to the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of skin, nail and hair diseases, as well as venereal (sexually transmitted) diseases.
Common problems that dermatovenerologists encounter in their practice include acne, fungal infections, eczema, hair loss, and genital warts and condylomas (HPV infection). and many other diseases of the skin and mucous membranes. An important part of a dermatological examination is also regular and full-body mole screening, which allows for early detection of suspicious or risky skin changes.
At the clinic, you can also undergo instrumental and aesthetic medical treatments aimed at improving the health of your skin and overall skin quality.
Patients in the clinic are carefully treated by two experienced dermatovenerologists: MUDr. Ľudmila Lipková and MUDr. Renáta Kisá . Both doctors work with modern diagnostic methods and professional approaches that enable accurate diagnosis and effective treatment according to the patient’s individual needs.
The dermatovenerological examination itself takes place in a calm atmosphere with an emphasis on discretion, comfort, and clear communication with the patient.

How to reach us
Váš Lekár Clinic can be found on the ground floor of the Eurovea 2 building. You have a choice of two inputs. The first entrance is located in the small square in front of the main entrance to Eurovea 2, next to the Eurovea Tower – on the left. The clinic can also be reached via the entrance from the promenade towards the Apollo Bridge – from the Danube. Parking is available in the Eurovea shopping center or at the Slovak National Theatre. - Patients visiting our clinic for the first time are kindly requested to arrive approximately 10 – 15 minutes before the examination in order to register at the client centre. You must present your insurance card or ID card (or other proof of identity) when registering.

For skin changes, itching, rashes, suspicious marks or chronic skin diseases. Do not hesitate to visit even if you suspect sexually transmitted infections, as a venereologist is the one who treats them.
You can visit the outpatient clinic without an exchange ticketas it is a self-paying workplace. The prices of the services are based on the current price list, alternatively you have a visit in your annual membership package.
Yes. Dermatoscopic examination of moles allows for detailed assessment of pigmented lesions. We recommend it once a year, or more often in cases of increased risk.
Yes. We propose an individual treatment of acne and other skin problems.
Yes. We are also investigating diseases of the skin and mucous membranes in the intimate area.
In the case of hair loss, the cause is first determined, such as hormonal imbalance, stress or hereditary factors. In addition to treatment with prescribed medications, it is possible use hair mesotherapy, which promotes growth and strengthens hair follicles, and is complemented by appropriate scalp care.
The examination usually takes 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the extent of the problem.

We provide referrals and contacts to other medical facilities and specialists for our clients. If you have purchased from us annual membership, our client center will take care of communication with the examination provider. We will keep you informed about the date and location of the examination.
You can reschedule or cancel simply through our ordering system (if you have registered and purchased your appointment directly through the portal) or by phone on +421 940 40 90 70.
Please keep us informed change or cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled examination. In case of late cancellation or no-show without apology, we reserve the right to charge the full cancellation fee.

Under current legislation, an exchange ticket is required for most specialisations. You can find precise information on where it is required in the section “Additional information” for each outpatient clinic.
Please first make an appointment with your GP, who will issue an exchange ticket to a specialist if necessary (except in specialties where one is not required). If you have a medical card at our general practice, you can arrange everything under one roof with us – from the examination to the exchange ticket.

The healthcare agreement is signed by the client and the doctor, who will also explain the procedure to the client. Subsequently, the nurse will arrange for the request and transfer of the medical documentation from the previous doctor to us at the Váš Lekár Polyclinic and the general practitioner’s outpatient clinic.
However, this is not possible until six months after the last Health Care Agreement has been signed with the current GP or gynaecologist. Once your medical records have been received, our nurse will contact you to arrange an initial check-up.
Capitalized clients
A capitated client is one who has a signed Health Care Agreement with a general practitioner or gynaecologist and is in possession of medical records. This client is entitled to complete health care, including a statutory preventive check-up, which is covered by public health insurance.
Uncapitated clients are not eligible for reimbursement of this exam by the health insurance company. The agreement is signed for a minimum of six months, after which time it is possible to switch to another doctor, including a gynecologist. If you have signed this agreement, your general practitioner and gynaecologist are your primary doctors in the area.
