Contracted insurance companies
* An insured person is a client for whom the health care fee is paid by the insurance company from the public health insurance. Health care is covered by the public health insurance under the conditions if the Polyclinic Váš Lekár has a valid contractual relationship with a health insurance company (VšZP, Dôvera, UNION), if the client has duly paid the insurance premium, if the client has a referral = exchange ticket.
To be examined by a specialist – the patient needs a written referral from a general practitioner or other specialist, the so-called exchange ticket. If the client does not have an exchange ticket, he/she becomes a self-payer.
** Self-payer at the client’s discretion / foreigner – self-payer who requests an examination for direct payment and requests an examination without an exchange ticket
