About the ambulance

The physiotherapy-rehabilitation clinic focuses on comprehensive care with the aim of diagnosis, therapy and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders of clients. Rehabilitation plays a key role in restoring health in acute and chronic illnesses, as well as post-traumatic and post-surgical conditions.

A team of physiotherapists led by a rehabilitation doctor works closely with the orthopaedic and neurological outpatient clinics. It addresses not only the relief of pain, but also the cause of its occurrence. After diagnosis, the client receives a targeted rehabilitation treatment plan using physical therapy (electrotherapy, magnetotherapy, laser therapy, ultrasound) and specialized methodologies in individual exercises with a physiotherapist.

He also addresses flatfoot related problems and provides active therapy in the form of exercise supplemented with soft techniques, foot stimulation, taping and physical therapy.

As part of prevention, the clinic educates clients about proper movement patterns and exercises in order to prevent possible injuries and difficulties that can result from improper movement stereotypes. It helps clients prevent common problems associated with sedentary jobs such as carpal tunnel syndrome or back and shoulder pain.

Capitalized clients

A capitated client is one who has a signed Health Care Agreement with a general practitioner or gynaecologist and is in possession of medical records.
This client is entitled to complete health care, including a statutory preventive check-up, which is covered by public health insurance.

Uncapitated clients are not eligible for reimbursement of this exam by the health insurance company.
The agreement is signed for a minimum of six months, after which time it is possible to switch to another doctor, including a gynecologist.
If you have signed this agreement, the general practitioner and gynecologist are your primary doctors in the area.

The healthcare agreement is signed by the client and the doctor, who will also explain the procedure to the client. Subsequently, the nurse will arrange for the request and transfer of the medical documentation from the previous doctor to us at the Váš Lekár Polyclinic and the general practitioner’s outpatient clinic.

However, this is not possible until six months after the last Health Care Agreement has been signed with the current GP or gynaecologist.
Once your medical records have been received, our nurse will contact you to arrange an initial check-up.

The client gets the opportunity to see more than 23 specialists in one facility, including a general practitioner.
He can also avail of expert counselling to improve physical and mental health as well as self-care within one building.

Express appointments within a few days, the possibility of a telephone consultation with the doctor, client management – reminders of preventive check-ups and notifications of upcoming booked appointments.
