We have many years of experience in the outpatient sector. We currently operate a network of outpatient clinics in Bratislava, Pova\u017esk\u00e1 Bystrica and Poprad, and we have experience not only with their operation, but also with the management of the Z\u00e1poro\u017esk\u00e1 Health Centre in Bratislava. It includes 20 outpatient clinics. We have been instrumental in the fight against Covid-19 and our health workers have tested and vaccinated thousands of people across the country. <\/p>\n

V\u00e1\u0161 Lek\u00e1r in the present and vision for the future<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Over the past few years, our interest has evolved with a clear goal: to help our clients live longer active lives. We recognize that one of the most important tools to achieve this is prevention in health. “We are confident that early and accurate diagnosis can help them live a longer active life<\/em>,” says Pavol Marcinko, CEO of V\u00e1\u0161 Lek\u00e1r. <\/p>\n

Thanks to our experience and comprehensive view of physical and mental health, we decided to open V\u00e1\u0161 Lek\u00e1r clinic in Bratislava. It will open as early as January 2024.<\/p>\n

The largest project will start in January 2024<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We are currently working on the launch of the largest project V\u00e1\u0161 Lek\u00e1r, which is the eponymous polyclinic in the premises of Eurovea 2 in Bratislava. The guarantor of its concept is a Slovak physician and nutritionist, MUDr. Boris Bajer, PhD. The polyclinic comes with a professional and precise approach, represented by 23 outpatient clinics and five additional workplaces under one roof. “Our goal is to look at the health of our clients as a whole. In the case of a specific case, several relevant doctors will assess their medical history, and thanks to the digitised client zone, this process will be fast and efficient<\/em>. We want to provide healthcare to people who are willing to take responsibility for their health<\/em>,” Bajer explains. <\/p>\n

The clinic will focus on achieving well-being for our clients and will be helped by two factors: prevention and data. A simple tool that allows clients to regularly prevent is an annual membership in the V\u00e1\u0161 Lek\u00e1r clinic<\/em>. As part of the membership, clients get access to their own digital client area, short wait times for doctor appointments and a comprehensive view of their health, among a host of other benefits. One of the advantages of the polyclinic is the fact that under one roof there are not only general and specialized clinics, but also nutritionists and mental health specialists.<\/p>\n

Polyclinic with a personal approach to each person<\/strong><\/h2>\n

New are specialized preventive examinations with regard to the age and gender of clients. A 20-year-old woman requires different care than a 60-year-old man. “That is why we are adding fertility and prostate examinations, among others, to our preventive check-ups<\/em>,” Bajer adds. The polyclinic will accept a limited number of clients so that the doctors have enough time to perform their work and so that the clients receive full health care. All this during convenient opening hours, in an accessible location and without unnecessary waiting.<\/p>\n

Pharmacies with a diagnostic centre will offer more accessible healthcare<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In addition to the polyclinic, V\u00e1\u0161 Lek\u00e1r is also working on opening pharmacies all over Slovakia. Currently, there is a pharmacy in Zvolen, and by the end of this year it will be joined by pharmacies in Tren\u010d\u00edn, Krupina and \u017deliezovce. In January 2024 we will open a pharmacy within the V\u00e1\u0161 Lek\u00e1r Polyclinic. We are not stopping with our plans, by the end of 2024 we will launch 9 more pharmacies in cities across Slovakia.<\/p>\n

For many years, we have had a strange perception that pharmacists only sell medicines in pharmacies. But did you know that pharmacists are the most accessible health professionals? That is why we are looking forward to the gradual addition of diagnostic centres in our pharmacies, where our pharmacists will be able to carry out basic diagnostics approved by legislation. We want to change the view that the pharmacy is just a medicine shop and see it as a tool for more accessible healthcare.<\/p>\n

Plans from the polyclinic are already being practiced in outpatient clinics<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Currently, there are seven clinics operating under the V\u00e1\u0161 Lek\u00e1r brand in three Slovak cities. In addition to the general practitioners’ clinics, you can also visit the urology, gynaecology and internal medicine clinics. You can book an appointment in all surgeries now – online and at the exact time. That way you don’t have to wait for long hours in the waiting room unnecessarily. <\/p>\n

The V\u00e1\u0161 Lek\u00e1r brand is aware of the current state of healthcare in Slovakia and perceives significant potential for its improvement. That is why in January 2024 he is coming up with a completely new project, in which he will take advantage of all the experience he has gained so far and bring a completely new perspective on health to his clients.<\/p>\n
